Beyond The Academy: Aerial & Tower Ladder Operations   Is your 1 million dollar fire apparatus set up for a parade or fire operations? Has your department taken delivery (or soon will) of their FIRST aerial or tower ladder? Are you switching from an aerial ladder to a tower ladder, or vise-versa? Regardless if your rig is brand new, your department is changing types, or your department is seeking to review the potential that your aerial ladder or tower ladder can provide, let Brotherhood Instructors, LLC assist you. With nearly 40 instructors from across North America, there are very few aerial or tower ladder apparatus that we have not worked on. This course will take you beyond the typical "water tower" or "surround-and-drown" operations that many firefighters see as the only use for such an apparatus. Techniques for spotting and setting up the apparatus, aggressive operations at offensive and defensive fires, and safe and efficient operations will be discussed, demonstrated and practiced by your members using your rig.
